Sure. For one thing, that's the only way to make any money on a record contract, since the studio and RIAA get nearly all the profit out of record sales.
But also, it seems like fun. I like traveling, seeing new places.
On the other hand, pretty much everything I do these days involves lots of multitracking, so I guess I'd need a band or something.
(I've been paying too much attention to the news lately. Upon the first reading, my mind stuck an "rt" into the antepreantepenultimate word in your question...)
