Thanks. I've now wasted a whole day reading the complete archives instead of working on things that needed doing.

His characters have evolved into having the most expressive faces that I've seen in any webcomic.
It's probably a good thing it took him a while to develop his style; the mini-arc starting with #500 would have been even more brutal had it been drawn in his current mode...
